Joe Lieberman is a Republican

He will endorse a Republican for president.

There is no question or doubt in my mind that he will do so, because to do otherwise he would have to endorse a Democratic candidate who wants to end the war. All the Democratic candidates want to end the war.

Good. They can freakin’ have him. The only reason he hasn’t officially gone over is because Democrats are in power, he has seniority, thus chairman positions. If the Republicans take over, he’ll officially switch in a heart-beat.

Officially he is an Independent, not a Democrat. So there is no need for him to go over at all. Just change who he caucuses with.
