it seems to me that this Michael Tam is the only person trying to say no to this medicine. i personally have never ever had 1 bad thing happen to me except the fact that the police didnt like it. oh fucking well. its my medicine. Dr. Tam, have you ever smoked weed then tried working on something? for me it helps with work, cleaning, cooking, and sleeping. i am actually MORE focused on what i was doing AFTER i smoked a joint. not before.
to your statement that it doesnt help with insomnia... your wrong. before i started smoking weed i would stay up for days on end. now, all i have to do is smoke a joint or two, and im going to bed within the next hour/hour an half.

heres some nice "stats" for you "Dr." Tam,
before smoking weed, i was in trouble all the time for fights, bad language, and not following authority.
i had bad grades, i wouldnt listen to anybody and i was very easily triggered to make violent actions at the drop of a hat.
AFTER starting to smoke:i had a 3.8 GPA in school, i never once got into a fight, people said that i was the most respectful person they had ever met. AND i played sports. and did quite well at them. not only did i do MY work, i did my classmates/teammates work as well JUST so i could play sports and go to college.

take that Dr. Tam.
(oh, and the next time u use quotes on a word like belief, make sure your not insulting that person for believeing what they want to believe. asshole)

Mike-i could really relate to your letter. i have had Meniere's for 18 years but the episodes have been increasing in frequency for the past year and a half. i have not been able to work since then, was an ER nurse and the anxiety of possibly having a drop attack, the unilateral deafness that left me unable to locate where sounds (eg. alarms) are coming from, and the inability to drive at times have made me feel unsafe.
so, my boyfriend from Colorado has his card and i've been trying it. i recently went on vacation with grandkids and nonsmokers for 10 days (no weed) and had 2 drop attacks and 2 vertigos where i lost the day.
i'm still trying to get into remission with daily SERC, diazide but am confident that the MM is my answer, just need to titrate and learn to grow, as the dispensaries are expensive. i am a resident of a non-legal state, or i would have my card! but it is on our ballot for november and they have already passed a bill on how to tax it, so looks good!
i would rather not support the outrageous drug companies.
i had a vertigo attack today, couldn't walk or focus, and it was while i was caring for a grandbaby--pretty scary. took the regular meds, valium, dyazide, meclizine, and improved a bit. then took a small hit and within minutes was totally fine. i'm a believer!

I have ADD and have experienced a lot of stress while working. I've been diagnosed with ADD as a child and have been through the ritalin phase to no avail. I have been through a lot of depression and have been through anti-depression medicine as well.

I plan on getting a medical marijuana card myself when I'm able to as well. I will definitely say that marijuana has literally saved my mind from total mental meltdown, which was contributed by my anxieties. I fully stand behind medicinal marijuana legalization and fully support this type of treatment. I know kids shouldn't be smoking but given the right amount of digestive doses, it will definitely save a lot of lives through regulation and control.

I have A.D.D.
I also smoke Marijuana illegally, oops. I have been through all the A.D.D. testing and I know I have it. It runs in the family. I am currently prescribed Vyvanse, it helps me concentrate, but I don't like alot of the side effects. One, it makes me loose my appetite, some times I'd go a week without eating and that's not healthy. I also have insomnia and adding a stimulant doesn't help well either. I smoke marijuana because my thoughts are going so fast through my head that I can't even think. But when I smoke it seems to slow things down so I can actually think about something for more than 2 seconds. It helps alot with my anger that comes with having A.D.D. In frustrating situations where I'd normally lose my cool and explode which results in yelling and breaking things, sometimes my anger is so bad I end up hurting myself, but when I am under the influence I am chill as a cucumber.
