Apparently they are being ironic when they call themselves pro-life. They only pretend to care about foetuses at all because it allows them to control women.

It comes out of the idea of sales, selling people on the fantasy they want rather than the reality you have. If your product isn’t very good or very popular, you pretend it is the opposite, and you get money or power or whatever it is you’re trading for.
