About two minutes ago. The wave appeared to travel north from Berkeley. My wife just gave me the update. Magnitude 3.7, epicenter 2 miles east southeast of Berkeley.

Seminole County Sheriff’s investigators responded to a call about 2:30 a.m. at Tivoli Apartments on San Remo Point in Oviedo. One of the victims told investigators that he heard a knock on the door and, when he turned the knob, someone kicked in the door and hit him on the head with a firearm.

Four people in the apartment were forced to lie face down on the floor, their hands and feet bound with duct tape, the Sheriff’s Office said. The suspects spent about 15 minutes searching the apartment, taking wallets, jewelry and computers, according to reports.

The victims freed themselves after the suspects left and called for help.

Then the police came and helped by searching for evidence and then arresting one of the victims — for possession of cannabis.

No word on whether the home invaders are still at large.
